Quinn Raymond asked me to draw something for his zine, to accompany the lyrics for his song “NYC Mayors.” I drew mayor Fiorello La Guardia playing a pretty bitchin’ pink paisley Telecaster guitar. La Guardia’s nickname was “the little flower.” Get it? Paisley, little flower. I used to live around the corner from the La Guardia statue, near the corner of Bleecker and LaGuardia in Manhattan.

The drawing is now also the cover art for Quinn’s “NYC Mayors” single, which you should totally get.
